Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Commercial Account Handler.

Salary: up to £45k (dependant on experience) plus extensive benefits
You will ideally have over 2 years experience dealing with commercial sized policies (GWP over £40k) with experience in agricultural risks. Acturis experience is preferred.

ABOUT THE COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

You’ll be responsible for the account handling of agricultural customers across a range of farming risks.
You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.

You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

MAIN DUTIES IN THE COMMERCIAL INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

• Responsible for growing our client’s commercial book through new business / arranging policies for new clients
• Be a point of referral within the team
• Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
• Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.
• Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business

THE SKILLS YOU’LL BRING TO THE COMMERCIAL INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

• Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 2 years is essential - ideally with experience of dealing with agricultural/farming risks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Organised and effective worker
• Preferably Acturis experience
