We are looking for an individual in Halifax who can build and develop a portfolio of business clients in various industries. In this position, you will create business financing opportunities for them, as well as collaborate with the BDC Advisory Services teams to offer tailored solutions in order to support their growth.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

If you can answer YES to the following questions, you may be just the person we are looking for:

• Do you have a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce or business administration?
• You are passionate about entrepreneurship and have 3 or more years of experience in business development and have developed a network in the business community?
• Do you have a sixth sense that allows you to identify business issues and needs for entrepreneurs?
• Are you a strategic listener, conscious conversationalist, and do you have the ability to persuade and influence people from a wide range of roles and backgrounds?
• Do you have strong financial acumen and experience with analyzing financial statements?
• Do you demonstrate team spirit, structure and organization and establish effective and lasting relationships with your peers as well as with business contacts and external partners?
• Do you have excellent negotiation skills, are results-oriented and have concrete goal achievements to your credit?
