Essential:

  • Experience in administrative work involving record keeping and following processes
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to spot discrepancies in financial information
  • Good Excel skills including basic formulas, formatting, filtering and sorting data
  • Comfortable using the phone regularly to contact managing agents, customers and colleagues
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with different people
  • Valid driving licence for property inspections and site visits
  • Willingness to learn about property management and leasehold services

Responsibilities
  • Learning about managing agents and how they maintain communal areas like cleaning, car parks and landscaping for our customers
  • Checking service charge invoices to ensure our customers get accurate billing and value for money
  • Ensuring agent invoices are paid on time to maintain strong relationships and avoid late payment charges
  • Building positive relationships with agents through regular phone calls and meetings to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Being the helpful voice our customers can call when they have questions or concerns about their service charges
  • Using Excel to review payment data and spot any errors that could affect our customers
  • Supporting our shop portfolio by conducting property inspections, checking lease and rent renewals, and preparing lease documents
  • Developing expertise in property management while ensuring our customers get excellent value for every pound they spend
