Description POSITION SUMMARY: Assume supervisory responsibility for all operational and compliance aspects of the Commercial / Ag Loan Processing and Preclosing Department. Exercise judgment in reviewing the loan files for accurate documentation and timely service. Provide leadership and coaching to the processing team to ensure desired results. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE: Provide daily supervision of the commercial/ag processing and preclosing team members Measure and monitor team members work and adjust as needed and provide back up during high volume or other personnel related gaps Administrate and understand all functions of LaserPro loan documentation system Oversee implementation of all new loan products including setting up templates, ensure documentation complies and specifications are operationally feasible RESPONSIBILITIES: Make samples and write procedures to train all Commercial / Ag Loan Processing and Preclosing Department employees Keep department informed through e-mail, examples and meetings of changes in policies and procedures. Review files for proper documentation and adherence to policies. Make recommendations to management regarding improvements and department needs. Champion teamwork, engagement and operational excellence. Arrange for training needs of the Commercial / Ag Loan Processing and Preclosing Department. Attend meetings and seminars as requested and required to remain up-to-date on industry standards. Train new lenders, loan support staff and loan processors as needs are determined or policies/practices change. Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position. Directly leads 2-5 Commercial Ag Closers providing guidance, regular performance feedback, & development planning Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and two to four years related experience in loan processing and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years supervisor experience focusing on the Commercial / Ag lending areas preferred. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to lead others, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. General knowledge of bank operations, lending and information technology. Previous experience with, and efficiency in using Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel. Good organization skills, communication skills, observant and able to document procedures. Continually looks for ways to improve processes and minimize duplicate work and is detail oriented. COMPLIANCE: As generally applicable to F&M Bank and commensurate with these job functions, this job role includes accountabilities for following Bank policies and related procedures, as well as regulatory requirements involving federal and state laws, regulations, and related guidance. Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department. Responsibilities

Supervise the operational and compliance aspects of the Commercial and Agricultural Loan Processing and Preclosing Department. Lead a team of closers, manage the LaserPro documentation system, and ensure all loan files adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
