ENERGY AND DECARBONISATION KNOWLEDGE

• Understanding of technology solutions: solar PV, CHPs, heat pumps, boilers and demand side measures.
• Ability to understand how the technologies generate energy/carbon savings and revenue streams for the customer.
• Develop an understanding of relevant industry regulations and future innovation.
• Develop an understanding of key funding routes for both private and public sector customers.
• Work closely with the Net Zero Pathways team to improve and develop tools for modelling.

Centrica has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our Centrica Business Solutions team in the UK. Centrica Business Solutions is a leading provider of sustainable and energy efficient solutions to clients in many private and public-sector industries. We have a history of sustained growth, and we have excellent opportunities for further significant expansion both in the UK and overseas.
The role involves collaboration with the Sales, Finance and Commercial teams. The focus will be to help private and public sector customers lower their carbon footprint and/or energy costs.
The purpose of the role is to develop business cases and financial models for Managing Director and Leadership Team approval. Where required, the role will support the Net Zero Pathways team.
The responsibility of the role will cover three core areas: commercial mindset, technical analysis and energy and decarbonisation knowledge.
