POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Commercial Analyst at Ebury Canada, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by providing data-driven insights, optimizing sales processes, and implementing strategies to accelerate revenue growth. You will work closely with local leadership, leverage data analytics tools, and contribute to the development and execution of sales acceleration initiatives. This role is based out of our Toronto office, but will work closely with our regional offices in Vancouver and Montreal, reporting into HQ in London, UK.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a sales analyst or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.
- Solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and lead-to- revenue lifecycle.
- Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights to non technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functionalteams.
- Additional language capability in French is desirable
- Familiarity with financial products and markets is desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Sales Analytics: Collect, analyse, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track sales performance and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
- Sales Process Optimization: Collaborate with the sales team to assess and enhance existing sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, and forecasting. Identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Sales Enablement: Support the development and implementation of sales enablement programs, including training materials, sales collateral, and sales playbooks. Ensure sales representatives have the necessary tools and resources to effectively engage with prospects and close deals.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and revenue forecasts. Analyse data to identify opportunities for revenue growth, customer segmentation, and cross- selling/up-selling initiatives.
- CRM Management: Maintain and optimise the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer and sales data. Provide training and support to the sales team on CRM usage and best practices
- Sales Automation: Identify opportunities for sales process automation and collaborate with the technology team to implement appropriate tools and systems. Streamline workflows and eliminate manual tasks to improve salesteam productivity.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs. Provide insights to the sales team for better targeting, positioning, and differentiation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to align sales acceleration initiatives with overall business objectives. Collaborate with sales managers to ensure effective implementation and adoption of sales strategies.
