Summary As the Commercial Analyst at KAYALI, you will play a pivotal role in researching and analyzing commercial insights from all international markets to help shape the strategic commercial objectives of KAYALI. You will support accurate global reporting and forecasting to drive actionable insights for senior management. This role is based at KAYALI HQ in Dubai and is central to enabling data-driven decision-making in a dynamic, high-growth luxury fragrance environment. Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Analysis · Develop and maintain pricing models across markets, channels, and product categories, incorporating cost structures, competitor benchmarks, and margin targets ·Conduct price elasticity analysis and scenario modelling to quantify the revenue and margin impact of pricing adjustments · Monitor competitor pricing (across fragrance, beauty, and luxury) using syndicated data, retailer feeds, and primary research to identify positioning opportunities · Support the creation and governance of a global pricing architecture, including recommended retail prices, trade pricing, and promotional guardrails Market Intelligence & Commercial Research · Build and maintain competitive intelligence trackers covering pricing, distribution, assortment, promotional activity, and market share of key competitor brands · Conduct deep-dive analyses on specific markets, retailers, or categories to support expansion decisions and commercial negotiations · Synthesize findings from syndicated data sources (e.g., Euromonitor, NielsenIQ, Circana, or equivalent) into actionable executive summaries Sales Performance & Commercial Reporting · Own the development and maintenance of commercial dashboards and regular performance reports covering sell-in, sell-out, and sell-through metrics · Analyze sales data across channels (DTC, wholesale, travel retail, e-commerce) and geographies to identify performance trends, growth drivers, and risk areas · Perform promotional effectiveness analysis, measuring ROI on trade spend, markdowns, and campaign-linked activity · Prepare monthly and quarterly commercial reviews for the Global President, including variance analysis and forward-looking recommendations Process Improvement & Systems · Assist in the development and enhancement of consolidation and reporting models, driving automation and process efficiency. ·Participate in transformation projects, including system upgrades and reporting tool implementations. · Ensure compliance with internal controls and group policies. Key Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in economics, Research or related field. ·5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, or consolidation roles, ideally within luxury, retail, or FMCG sectors. · Strong retail and pricing knowledge and understanding of multi-currency, multi-entity consolidation. · Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI); experience with ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics) is an advantage. · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders. · Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment. · Collaborative team player with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
