About the role We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Commercial Analyst Lead to join our high-performing team. Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Performance and Reporting, the Commercial Analyst Lead is responsible for analysing financial, commercial, and operational data across the Assistance business. This role provides strategic insights and recommendations to support financial viability, long-term sustainability, and effective execution of the business strategy. Key Responsibilities Utilise professional data tools to build scalable, repeatable data transformations and extracts across financial, commercial, and operational functions. Deliver accurate and timely reporting across commercial and operational areas, including ad hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Conduct accurate detailed analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for improved performance and reporting. Develop and maintain dashboards and models to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, translating complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across commercial and operational areas to ensure alignment, collaboration, and effective delivery of insights. Provide guidance and mentoring to team members, supporting their development and promoting a high-performance culture. About you You will have a degree in Business Management, Data Analytics, or a related field, with 4–5 years of analytical experience, with a strong ability to interpret complex data and financial reports to inform sound business decisions. 2-3 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and engaging people to deliver results is highly preferred. Advanced proficiency in analytical tools and statistical modelling, including SAS, SQL, Tableau and Microsoft Excel. Extensive experience presenting insights to senior management, influencing strategic decision-making through clear communication and strong business acumen. Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, capable of driving innovation and long-term value creation. Solid understanding of business planning, budgeting, and strategic execution. A curious mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at senior executive levels and across cross-functional teams. Why join RACQ?
