Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

Do you have a proven track record of producing high quality reporting and insight as a Commercial Analyst? If so, join our RFD Beaufort Division where you will focus on developing, implementing and managing effective performance metrics and dashboards for the Sales and Commercial functions. The Commercial Analyst will provide insight across the Division which will drive effective decision making, improved customer experiences and increased revenues.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE ROLE

  • Designs and delivers management information / business intelligence to enable quick and thorough insight into the state of the business, driving commercial decision-making and allowing teams to easily and efficiently self-serve. Recommend appropriate functional KPIs / metrics to monitor business performance and determines the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting dashboards needed to drive performance.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for development of reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Contributes to projects that drive automation and streamlining of regular reporting suite. Produce ad hoc analyses and reports as needed. Ensure data integrity throughout the reporting cycle. Assist the Sales Support team in maintaining a library of model documents, templates or other reusable knowledge assets.
  • Uses data from a wide range of sources in the production of market and competitor intelligence to inform the sales team, understand the commercial environment and provide effective support to drive relevant commercial initiatives.
  • Develops understanding of external market, geographic and technological trends and emerging issues; tracks market movements and draws conclusions; provides insight to product and sales to support and drive strategy development and strategic initiatives.
  • Works with external data providers, owning and managing relevant subscriptions to ensure best use of budget.
  • Interprets business need and identifies solution recommendations to support bids, proposals, process improvements and improvement projects.
  • Supports ongoing improvement in existing applications and reporting and contribute to development of new applications; support testing of new or improved functionality; develop robust data models using internal (ERP, CRM, BI) and external data sources.
  • Creates and maintains high quality and user documentation; ensures effective disaster recovery capability for knowledge content.
  • Supports production of effective professional presentations on key trends and findings for a range of audiences; drives increased self-serve content where appropriate.
