Description

Facilico is looking for an experienced Commercial Bidding Manager to lead our tendering process for Hard and Soft Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating bid opportunities, preparing high-quality submissions, and ensuring cost-effective and competitive proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 years of experience in bidding, estimating, or commercial management within the facilities management, construction, or MEP sectors (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, contract negotiation, and bid strategy development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with clients and senior management.
  • Proficiency in bid management tools and financial modeling, with advanced MS Excel skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assess tender documents to identify risks, requirements, and opportunities, coordinating with division heads to guide bid strategy.
  • Manage and lead bid preparation, ensuring comprehensive, accurate, and high-quality client submissions, including pre-qualification documents and presentations.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to seek clarifications, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Develop commercial and technical proposals, including methodology statements, mobilization plans, resource histograms, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee cost estimation, ensuring accurate pricing for materials, labor, and equipment in line with RFP requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Present bid strategies and risk factors in management meetings, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  • Support contract handover by providing project managers with detailed tender documents, budget insights, and contractual guidelines.
  • Track tender progress and performance, generating reports on bid wins, losses, and key learnings for continuous improvement.
