As a Business Manager within the APAC Global Investment Banking (GIB), you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be part of the Business Management team, helping the APAC Industry Global Investment Banking (GIB) business in promoting business results, executing strategic initiatives, and delivering Financial & Business Management agenda. This role provides exposure to all aspects of the business with high impact, high visibility and broad scope of responsibilities. If you have a background in business management, finance or business strategy, this highly visible role could be your next career move. The role is based in Singapore.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, business management or strategy roles covering investment banking
- Industry and product knowledge in investment banking and prior Business Management /Chief Operating Office experience
- Experience in managing projects/ initiatives on business expansion/ simplification, with ability to influence, manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality results under tight deadlines
- Strong business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize changing demands
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment with excellent attention to detail
- Articulate in written and verbal communication, present and support their own conclusions to senior audiences
- A team player who can work smoothly with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple disciplines and levels of seniority
- A self-starter with excellent can-do attitude, motivation, and an ability to learn quickly
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Familiarity in Dealogic
- Know-how in other data analytic tools (e.g. Qliksense)

Responsibilities:
- Support the APAC Industry GIB Business Management team to define, implement and achieve business objectives, formulation of strategic decisions/initiatives and & identification of risks/ opportunities
- Support with management reporting, pipeline management, expense and budgetary management, relevant control steps across deal lifecycle, event coordination, and other internal data analytics and maintenance
- Partner with regional/ business management team on various regional/ global deliverables, ranging from regulatory reporting to data analytics
- Partner with various control and support functions on various BAU and ad hoc projects
