About The Role
In today’s fast-paced and highly regulated care environment, data-driven insights are mission-critical for operational success and workforce planning.
The Reporting and Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in analysing financial and operational data, delivering strategic insights, and supporting workforce planning aligned with compliance requirements like Care Minutes.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role ensures accurate and meaningful financial reports and dashboards, enabling business leaders across aged care, retirement living, housing, and community services to make informed decisions.
As part of a high-performing commercial analytics team, you will contribute to pricing strategy, market and competitor analysis, and optimisation of reporting frameworks to improve Anglicare’s financial sustainability and service delivery. Your expertise will transform raw data into actionable intelligence that strengthens internal capabilities, fosters a culture of accountability, and drives strategic outcomes.
This role is a key enabler of business performance, combining financial acumen and advanced analytics to support decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial and operational reporting through dashboards and analytics
  • Strategic forecasting and predictive modelling
  • Data quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Commercial analysis, including pricing strategy and market insights
  • Stakeholder engagement to align strategy with execution

Key Skills

  • Expertise in business intelligence, financial analytics, and data modelling
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Excel for advanced reporting
  • Experience in financial forecasting, compliance reporting, and risk analysis
  • Familiarity with workforce planning and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector
  • Ability to identify trends, drive improvements, and support decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related fields
  • 5-8 years’ experience in business intelligence, financial reporting, or commercial analytics
  • Experience working within aged care, healthcare, or NFP sectors is highly desirable
  • Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and automation tools
