Job Description Job Description King & Moffatt Building Services are seeking a Commercial Assistant to support the Commercial and Project Teams across our electrical and mechanical projects. This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-focused individual who is looking to build a career in the construction and engineering sector, with exposure to commercial management, cost control, and project administration. What you would do Assist the commercial department with project cost control and reporting Support the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation Help track project costs, budgets, and forecasts Assist with procurement administration and supplier queries Support the preparation of subcontractor payments Update spreadsheets, cost trackers, and project files Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and the finance department Ensure documentation is compliant with company and contractual requirements Qualifications Qualifications Strong organisation and administration skills Good level of numeracy and attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and email Good communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and develop Additional Information / Desirable Skills and Experience Previous experience in construction, engineering, or commercial admin Knowledge of cost control or procurement Interest in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management Relevant qualification (e.g. Business, Construction, Engineering) Additional Information Why choose King & Moffatt?
