PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Must have very strong Mathematical and analytical skills, as all quotations are calculated in volume.
· Ideally qualified to Degree level, although candidates educated to A level standard in Maths or Science will be considered.
· Ideally some experience or knowledge or international shipping and supply chain.
· Can demonstrate superior time management and organisational skills
· Must be computer literate and be able to learn and use the company in house system
· Must have good presentation and communication skills
· Must exhibit professionalism and cordiality with customers, suppliers and staff
· Must have the capacity to adequately handle work stress and be able to meet project deadlines
· Must have the drive to learn the technical knowledge of products, of distribution channels, and to improve knowledge base above and beyond administration

Work Location: In perso
· Receive and process customer enquiries/orders and queries
· Preparing quotations including calculating costs based on Volumes and weights. This sometimes involves the conversion of units of measurements.
· Costing Analysis, including calculating cost of sales, shipping costs and Margin. As well as reviewing previous orders to ensure profitability on future orders of the same nature.
· Coordinating the shipping of customer orders internationally including ensuring that all the correct shipping documentation is present.
· Maintain and develop information systems to provide Operations Management with good quality information to ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined and agreed upon regarding product cost, product quality and delivery times.
· Working with the Commercial Manager in resolving contractual and commercial problems.
· Be willing to learn to recognise business risks and opportunities
· Preserve or highlight improvements of the company’s procedures, standards or policies while sticking to business edicts and regulatory guidelines.
· Working with sales and marketing managers in the co-ordination of marketing activities and other company activities.
· To work in collaboration with Group Management in reviewing, scrutinising, and developing efficient and effective operational process flow.
· Understanding and Highlighting the financial aspects and impacts of a contract/Sales order
· Ensuring that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations; reflecting them accurately
· Successfully resolving customer queries quickly and efficiently.
· Working with the commercial manager to expand and develop skill base and knowledge beyond administration
