Nick Mayer Auto Group is growing its footprint, and we are looking for an Inside Commercial Automotive Account Manager to help us expand the commercial sales and service side of business for our Mayfield and Wickliffe, Ohio locations.
We are looking for someone who has local knowledge, has a passion for developing relationships with clients, who thinks outside of the box, does not take “no” for an answer and works diligently to secure business pipelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, automotive sales, trucking, or a combination
• Knowledge of commercial vehicles and commercial business in the area.
• CMC commercial certification is required or the ability to obtain this certification within a reasonable timeline
• Self-motivated and can conduct B2B prospecting.
• Excellent people skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Adaptable in an environment of rapid change, high energy, and always composed.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

• Responsible for generating new commercial sales and service business.
• Closes new business by prospecting for and contacting potential customers in person or by telephone or email; understanding products and services; monitoring competitors, working the sales funnel, and maintaining the sales database.
• Once business is secured, forecast customers’ needs to stock adequate inventory and maintain current and growing sales.
• Builds new accounts by establishing and maintaining rapport with key decision makers, studying account needs, and developing plans.
