To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Commercial Business Administration Internship to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry. Role Summary We are recruiting three Commercial Business Administration Interns to support our Commercial Sales and Finance teams. This structured internship provides hands-on experience across commercial administration, finance processes, and stakeholder communication, offering a strong foundation for a career in commercial sales or finance. Location: Coventry, UK Company: Lotus Technology Innovative Limited Contract Type: Internship (3-month rolling) Start Date: January 2026 Working Hours: 20 hours per week (3 days) Internship Allocation 1 x UK Sales Support 1 x EU Sales Support 1 x Finance Support Interns will be aligned to one of the above areas while also gaining broader exposure to the wider commercial function. Working Pattern Monday: 09:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break) Wednesday: 09:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break) Friday: 09:00 – 16:00 (1-hour lunch break) Total: 20 hours per week Key Responsibilities Depending on allocation, responsibilities may include: Processing and matching supplier invoices Managing subcontractor invoices and payment notices Goods receipting Supplier and subcontractor statement reconciliations Responding to supplier and subcontractor queries via phone and email Liaising with project, site, and sales teams to resolve queries Processing and coding overhead invoices Supporting the UK and EU Sales teams with dealer invoices Posting payment applications on the Corporate BPM system Preparing KPI and reporting packs General ad hoc administrative duties Learning & Development During the internship, you will develop skills and experience in: Recording and managing transactional financial data Using organisational tools and systems to identify discrepancies and reconciliations Recognising and correcting routine errors, escalating where appropriate Planning and reviewing finance and accounting tasks Communicating effectively with stakeholders across Sales and Finance Using finance and accounting software to support routine accounting activities Handling data securely in line with cyber and data protection requirements Requirements Essential: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / 4–9 or above) 3 A Levels, including Maths, English, or Business (Grades A*–C) Desirable: Additional relevant qualifications or prior industry experience Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills Good IT skills High attention to detail Organisational skills Customer-focused approach Problem-solving ability Presentation skills Administrative capability Numerical and analytical skills Teamworking skills Location Lotus Technology Innovative Limited 1st Floor, LEVC Headquarters Building Li Close Coventry, CV7 9RF Our Company: Group Lotus is a leading sports car manufacturer with a 75-year long history of iconic designs, groundbreaking engineering and legendary victories on the F1 track.
