We are looking for the right candidate to join our family business and be an integral part in our continued growth. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the identification and development of potential commercial and corporate client accounts throughout Scotland. Ideal candidate would have experience within soft services sector.
You will be responsible for generating pipelines, building relationships with potential clients, preparing quote / tender returns and closing deals.
KEY EXPERIENCE CHARACTERISTICS
· Ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of sales experience within soft services sector within commercial / corporate sector.
· Ability to meet sales targets.
· 5 years B2B sales experience.
· Must be able to demonstrate successful achievement in hitting targets regularly in previous roles.
· Skilled relationship connector at all levels.
· Full UK Driving License.
· Experience of using Microsoft.
· Knowledge of using CRM software.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· A proven, credible and professional individual of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
· Effective account management, ensuring relationships are maintained, targets are achieved, and opportunities are maximised.
· Whilst you will have full support from the senior management team you will need to be a proactive self-starter and comfortable sourcing and following up on new leads. Ability to close loop, self-create pipeline, gain quote opportunity and close sale.
· Surveying of sites and preparing of quotes.
· Able to successfully negotiate and influence.
· Ability to work alone on own initiative and as part of a team.
· Excellent and experienced presentation skills.
· Ability to organise workload, be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are achieved.
