SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The successful candidate will have experience in managing staff and leading busy administrative teams, ideally in a finance setting. You will be confident handling the full finance cycle, including accounts payable, requisitions, and account processing, and able to clearly explain financial information to managers and budget holders. We are seeking someone who can motivate and support their team, maintain high standards under pressure, and keep things running smoothly. You will need to be comfortable using Microsoft 365, especially Excel, and have a good understanding of accounting principles and KPIs. Strong communication skills are essential as you should be able to engage with colleagues at all levels and adjust your approach to suit different audiences. Experience working in a revenue-based business would be desirable as well as knowledge of the transport or higher education sector.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
You will hold an accounting or similar relevant BTEC Professional Qualification such, as AAT L2 and have GCSEs grade C/grade 4 or above in Maths and English, or proven experience.
