Job Description Support new and existing clients in the field of Brand & Media (B&M), Consumer Behaviour & Insights (CB&I) and Innovation in order to achieve the planned revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction. Proactively search for new clients and opportunities on the market. As a member of the Strategic Analytics and Insights team, you will: Independently sell solutions across our Brand & Media, Consumer Behaviour & Insights and Innovation practice areas, successfully assess the needs of our clients and proactively offer solutions in order to achieve sales targets. Business development to achieve target team’s objectives (financial and commercials). Partnering with local Account Development team to understand client needs and priorities (joint business plan, account planning) Scope projects responsibly to meet sales targets and ensuring feasibility by partnering with the respective Solution expert, Customer Success and Operations teams. Further identify and pass on to the relevant expert opportunities in the field of Analytics and Activation (A&A) Engage with clients and secure customer satisfaction by answering their concerns and questions and through on-site / off-site client consultancy work. Build Strategic Analytics & Insights portfolio awareness in and outside of organization: presenting in conferences, clients and internal events Execute according to our business plan as well as proactively search for opportunities on the market Prepare sales and commercial activation plans Manage pipeline and provide weekly input for forecasting sales. Continuously work on further professional development and adoption of technical knowledge related to NielsenIQ tools and services. Use NielsenIQ processes and tools to provide proactive and integrated analysis for customers, make recommendations and proposals. Collaborate with other departments within NielsenIQ Be compliant & responsive to financial discipline rules and to other reporting needs by using the appropriate NielsenIQ tools. Ensure internal processes are followed, including adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM system and other sales and operational processes. Responsibilities: Drive client conversations and take ownership of revenue generation specifically in the field of brand and consumer research, driving profitable growth for NielsenIQ (NIQ) Strategic Clients. Develop and execute strategic account sales plans, aligning with the SA&I regional cluster leader, and ensure consistent performance through the management of your sales pipeline, providing weekly input into sales forecasts. Lead the renewal and negotiation of contracts while delivering revenue goals, maintaining a long-term growth focus. Continuously engage with key decision-makers, influence strategies, and drive sales opportunities to help clients achieve their objectives (identifying opportunities, running capability meetings, preparing proposals, negotiating proposals). Develop brand / consumer research business with new Clients: identify needs, build client relations and awareness of research solutions, prepare proposals, negotiate. Build research awareness in and outside of the organization: present at conferences, client and internal events. Understand emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customers; leverage knowledge / understanding to expand relationships with own clients. Champion and act as a Brand/Consumer Research expert / resource for colleagues with lesser experience across Eastern Europe. Cooperate with the operations, project management and delivery teams. Qualifications Essential: Bachelor degree in economics, behavioral sciences, statistics, or related area. Strong communication skills. Strong verbal and written skills Strong analytical - statistical - logic skills. Exceptional ability for market / category analysis. Excellent presentation skills. Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions. Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment. Strong sense of urgency & accountability to drive client outcomes. Native Romanian (preferred). Speaking and writing English fluently. Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams. Competent negotiator with good influencing skills. Preferred: Previous experience in Brand / Consumer research (sales or consultant) Broad industry knowledge including (but not limited to) FMCG & Retail. Knowledge of Finance, Telekom, Auto industries would be a bonus. Accuracy and attention to detail.
