Description Kalos Services is a family-owned and operated General Contractor and Residential Service Provider serving the Central Florida region. We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and detail-driven Commercial Carpenter to join our growing team. If you’re the kind of person who can walk onto a jobsite and know exactly what needs to be done—this role is for you. This position involves overnight travel, including working in open, operational facilities. Work will include punch lists, small projects, repairs, and assisting on larger construction jobs. We need someone who can handle a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision and takes pride in craftsmanship. Responsibilities: Inspect, repair, and replace damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastics, and other materials with precision Construct, install, and repair: Frames Partitions Joists Studding Rafters Trim and finish components Perform drywall installation and finishing Finish surfaces: walls, ceilings, doors, cabinetry, and furniture Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail on every task Requirements Proven experience across multiple carpentry disciplines Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal instruction Excellent problem-solving skills and a “figure-it-out” mindset High personal integrity, professionalism, and communication skills Comfortable working overnight shifts and traveling throughout Florida Ability to lift 50+ lbs., kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical work Required Skills and Experience Framing Siding Trim carpentry Drywall installation & finishing Ability to read plans and construction documents Safe operation of carpentry tools and equipment Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a drug test and background check Clean, valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Benefits: At Kalos, we believe in supporting our employees both at work and in life.
