QUALIFICATIONS

· Class 1 Driver’s License required with clean abstract
· Must be familiar with manual transmission
· Must have minimum of two years Class 1 driving experience hauling freight

Work Location: On the roa

• Must perform daily inspection of the units they are driving in accordance with the NSC.
• Must keep accurate logs of their trips and activities.
• Ensure compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations.
• Ensure proper Journey Management.
• Uphold proper load times. Maintain to ensure “Best in Class Customer Service.”
• Ensure cleanness of units.
• Advise maintenance staff of required repairs need to vehicle.
• Maintains contact with terminal to receive instructions or to be dispatched to new location.
• Keeps record of material and product being transported.
• Assists if necessary, loading or unloading trucks.
• Secure load in accordance with policies and procedures.
