Position: Commercial Cleaner
Location: Christchurch
Employment Type: Full Time (minimum 30 hours per week)
Salary: $24.50 to $28.00

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous cleaning experience in homes, offices, or commercial spaces is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of different cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina, as the role involves manual labor and extended periods of standing.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Full driving license required as late night or early morning start required

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Mastro Cleaning Limited is looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Cleaner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial properties, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Vacuuming carpets and clean floor.
• Removing trash and recyclables, and emptying containers, bins, and trays.
• Stripping old wax from floors, reapplying wax, and polishing the floors.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom fixtures, restocking supplies, and reporting any faults.
• Using industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, workspaces, and machinery.
• Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and fixtures.
• Applying acids and solvents to surfaces to eliminate stains and dirt.
• Cleaning lint, dust, soot, oil, grease, sludge, and other residues from machinery, ships, furnaces, boilers, and tanks.
• Maintain hygiene and meet compliance requirements.
