We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader with a track record of operational excellence and continuous improvement to provide and maintain a safe and efficient workplace.

Key characteristics required include:

• A passion for operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A relevant Logistics, Business or Engineering degree or equivalent qualification with relevant experience in a similar environment
• Experience managing mid to large sized teams
• HR and performance improvement experience
• A demonstrable track record of maintaining and improving HSE culture
• Commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and interpret financial results
• Strong leadership and excellent time management skills
• A strong customer service focus
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• You are results driven, very detail oriented and have a high level of professionalism

Additional Information

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a high performing Commercial Collections Manager to join our Auckland Commercial Collections team. Based at our award-winning East Tamaki head office, the role will be responsible for high-value and strategically important collection services throughout the Auckland Region.
Reporting to the Operations Manager Auckland Commercial, you will be responsible for the delivery of all operational activities and financial performance working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, employees, and customers to deliver and exceed contract objectives.
This will be achieved through proactive management of Waste Management staff, contractors and work activities whilst maintaining accurate reporting and analysis of business metrics. We have a strong safety culture and this plays an essential part in this role.
