Description Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of skilled trade services. We are seeking a Commercial Construction Driver (Class A) responsible for operating commercial vehicles and heavy-duty trucks to transport materials, equipment, and construction supplies to regional locations. During non-driving or standby hours, this position will also assist with warehouse and yard operations as needed. The shift is Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, box trucks, and/or service body vehicles Hook up and tow trailers as needed using a heavy-duty vehicle Load and unload cargo following proper tie-down protocols Track and document driving activity in logbooks Communicate delivery expectations and updates with dispatch and management Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Assist with warehouse and yard duties when not hauling freight Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as needed Requirements Class A commercial driver's license accepted by the FMCSA Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience within a construction environment Ability to perform physical work, lifting or pulling up to 50lb continuously during the work shift Pass a D.O.T pre-employment drug test Valid D.O.T medical form Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
