Description:
COMMERCIAL ESTIMATOR & COORDINATOR
Join our team at Cotton Inc., a leading construction company in the Niagara region. We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator & Coordinator to support our construction projects. You will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to the success of our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
· Utilize your expertise in construction estimating to assess project scope and requirements.
· Prepare detailed and precise cost estimates, quotes and packages for various excavations, foundation and flatwork construction projects.
· Collaborate with field supervisors & business development to ensure accurate pricing and timely completion of quotes.
· Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers to ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs effectively.
· Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
· Provide support in the building phase by monitoring costs and identifying areas for cost optimization.
Experience:
· Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in price analysis and project costing.
· Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
· Ability to negotiate effectively with potential clients to secure work.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to produce accurate estimates.
· Strong computer skills, excel, Pipeliner CRM, and similar programs
