JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and experience with various estimating software, including Bluebeam and HeavyBid. The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project management principles.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Familiarity with cost control measures and pricing strategies within the construction industry.
• Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred, providing practical insights into project execution.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Estimator must be skilled in design-build approach and be able to assist in design with client
• Industrial and warehouse experience preferred
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and site visits.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
• Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create comprehensive bid proposals.
• Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions related to cost control.
• Provide support in project management activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing strategies.
