Description

Skillforce is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator for a full-time/direct hire role with our client. This contractor is looking for someone to stay and grow into a management position. Location: Orlando, FL area Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually (with generous bonus opportunities) Commercial Construction Estimator Responsibilities * Generate accurate, competitive cost estimates using Stack estimating software. * Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements. * Lead and manage projects independently from pre-construction through closeout. * Analyze labor, materials, and timelines to create cost-effective bids. * Identify project risks early and recommend proactive solutions. * Stay current on industry standards, pricing trends, and material/labor costs. Commercial Construction Estimator Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (preferred) * Interest in commercial construction estimating (waterproofing, caulking, roofing, protective coatings). * Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings. * Experience with estimating software (Stack preferred, but not required) * Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities

Generate accurate cost estimates and bids using Stack software while interpreting project plans and specifications. Lead projects independently from the pre-construction phase through to final closeout.
