A. Eilers Construction is seeking two experienced and highly analytical Commercial Construction Project Managers to join our fast-growing project management division. As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial construction projects—from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout—ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with exceptional quality. Ideal candidates will be strategic thinkers who are also personable, collaborative, and tech-savvy, with proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam or other PDF editing tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Superintendent.
  • Proven track record managing projects ranging from $250K to $10M.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Sage, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, building codes, safety regulations, and submittal processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Highly organized, logical, and analytical approach to construction project delivery.
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, schedule, and resource needs.
  • Manage and track project budgets, addressing overruns and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient resource use.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality control standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and milestone tracking.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to minimize delays and cost impacts.
  • Serve as primary liaison for clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Resolve jobsite and planning issues promptly and diplomatically.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and meeting notes.
  • Manage the full submittal process from log creation to final approvals.
  • Draft scopes of work and subcontractor agreements, ensuring risk management and legal compliance.
