Manage project execution on schedule and within budget while ensuring quality and client satisfaction. Utilize Procore to maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, schedules, daily logs, and change orders. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, consultants, and internal field teams. Build and maintain strong client relationships with clear communication and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor and report on project progress, financial performance, and risk mitigation. Perform regular site visits (job walks) and ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and contract requirements. Assist with purchasing, subcontract negotiations, and project closeout documentation. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of commercial construction management experience. Strong understanding of construction documents, estimating principles, and field coordination. Ability to lead bid walks, prepare estimates, and manage project financials. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency with Procore and construction estimating tools (e.g., PlanSwift). Knowledge of Chicagoland permitting, local building codes, and typical commercial project logistics. Proven ability to manage multiple small/medium commercial projects simultaneously. Work Environment & Culture Family-oriented company with low bureaucracy and a supportive leadership team.
