Due to our expanding hospitality portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead an upcoming Hotel build from the ground up.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction from pre-GMP through closeout for ground-up hotel projects exceeding $25M. This position requires excellent leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate has extensive hospitality construction experience and excels in scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Must have completed multiple ground-up hotel projects valued at $25M+ as the General Contractor.
  • Strong experience in scoping, buyout, and subcontractor management.
  • Proven ability to manage and update critical path method (CPM) schedules.
  • Skilled at preparing monthly owner billing and internal cost projections.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring APMs or PEs.
  • Expertise in Procore is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Local candidates or those with strong familiarity with the Metro Atlanta market are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, closeout, and client turnover.
  • Scope and buy out Subcontractors, including subcontract negotiations and contract management.
  • Create and maintain CPM schedules to ensure milestones are met and proactively manage risks.
  • Prepare owner billings and coordinate timely, accurate project documentation.
  • Mentor and supervise an Assistant Project Manager and/or Project Engineer.
  • Support the Superintendent in ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC procedures and jobsite safety.
  • Manage all documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders using Procore.
  • Perform monthly internal cost projections and maintain financial oversight of project budgets.
