Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our Architectural & Distribution team in Auckland. In this role, you’ll be working with Hardware Merchants in the commercial construction space to convert project specifications into sales and enhance the overall customer experience.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams across sales, operations, and supply chain to position ASSA ABLOY as the go-to provider of door hardware solutions in the commercial market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert project specifications into sales by engaging with Hardware Merchants
  • Capture discretionary opportunities in the market, from new specifications to live sales leads
  • Build and manage strong relationships with Merchants, and End-Users
  • Maintain detailed project tracking and engagement through Microsoft365 CRM and lead generation platforms
  • Ensure compliance with submitted specifications and maintain alignment with specified products throughout the project lifecycle
  • Expand the complete opening Scheduling and Specification offering, promoting the broader ASSA ABLOY Group’s product and service solutions as a key benefit to customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Provide technical support and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Offer constructive feedback on schedules, tenders, and submissions to enhance our service and product offering
  • Attend industry events and training to build brand presence and product awareness
