What You'll Do At Monteith As a Superintendent, you will manage the overall day-to-day supervision of field-related construction activities. This includes maintaining a safe work environment, conducting LEAN planning and construction scheduling, managing cost and quality control, coordinating trade partners, and strengthening relationships by ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. Build and maintain Owner, Architect, Trade Partner & Supplier relationships Ensure that all projects are performed by contract and quality standards Schedule and direct the daily activities of work and take necessary actions to ensure that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality, and process are met Maintain daily paperwork; timecards, field reports, schedule updates, RFIs, and E-mail correspondence Implement project schedules ensuring upcoming events are on track and being proactively attended to Promote and maintain safety, health, and cleanliness on the job site Conduct and attend pre-construction, progress, and other project and staff meetings Participate in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives Experience You Should Have 3+ years of experience in supervising commercial construction Ability to work non-traditional hours Excellent organizational, Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Experience with construction management software (Procore), a plus but not required Ability to travel Required to Thrill at Monteith No Brilliant Jerks– At Monteith, we want collaborators and teammates.
