Description TITLE: Commercial Container Delivery Driver DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Frontload Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Commercial Container Delivery Driver, under direction of the Frontload Supervisor, distributes, collects, and repairs company issued commercial waste receptacles for new, current, and former Tiger Sanitation customers. Essential Functions: · Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehicles · Distributes, collects, and repairs company issued commercial waste receptacles for new, current, and former Tiger Sanitation customers indicated on daily route sheet/tablet · Actively communicates any and all changes to daily route sheet/tablet to the dispatch team · Notifies supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on route · Reviews and completes daily work orders · Ability to navigate a route efficiently · Ensures accurate completion of route sheet/tablet and VCR by the end of each day · Other duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities · Ability to safely operate a DOT vehicle with trailer when required · Ability to utilize tablet technology · Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance · Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees, and community · Actively demonstrates Tiger Sanitation’s core values in daily tasks and communications: Professionalism, Respect, Accountability and Communication · Ability to demonstrate decision making skills that align with Tiger Sanitation’s 4 Step Decision Making Process · Ability to collaborate with coworkers · Ability to prioritize activities in order to achieve individual and team, expectations and goals Education and Experience · Possess a valid Class A Driver’s License Working Conditions This position will be based in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements, with extended periods of standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
