JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a senior skilled and motivated Commercial Contract Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial contract management , preferably within utilities, and negotiation, ensuring that all contractual agreements are beneficial and compliant with legal standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. This role would suit a retired / semi retired professional who wants to keep active.
We have a secured a contract with a major network infrastructure provider do deliver an AI assisted health & safety platform. The role will start part time and could develop further.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in contract management or consultancy, preferably within a corporate environment with a utility or construction.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract law, and concepts of AI
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information clearly.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and provide contractual support.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and amendments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance on contract management best practices to staff members.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting contracts within the industry.
