ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in quantity surveying, finance, accountancy, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting, and monthly accounts
  • Ability to produce commercial analysis, reports, and track variances/trends
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP system experience desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-starter, and able to work under pressure
  • Experience in the oil and gas or energy sector is essential
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Commercial Coordinator, you will provide crucial support and guidance to project teams on commercial and contractual matters. You will ensure accurate reporting, manage contract performance, and contribute to the financial success of projects. This role offers exposure to high-value contracts, client interaction, and strategic commercial decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting project teams with contract and commercial guidance, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
  • Preparing monthly client reports, including forecasts, commitments, budgets, and contract incentive schemes
  • Monitoring financial performance of contracts through management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Reviewing third-party invoices and labour reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Identifying and supporting contract amendments, rate reviews, and variations
  • Liaising with commercial administrators to ensure timely invoice submission and cash collection optimisation
  • Participating in contract reviews, highlighting commercial risks and opportunities
  • Supporting tender preparations and new business proposals as required
