QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Education and Experience
  • Two to five years of credit and/or commercial lending experience, specific to ongoing support and review of an existing commercial loan portfolio.
  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field); Business or Finance preferred.
  • Skills
  • Possess knowledge of PC, Microsoft, and commercial loan origination and processing software such as Lazer Pro.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Interact effectively on a routine basis with colleagues, senior management, clients, and the public.
  • Should be familiar with the Credit Union bylaws, policies, procedures and state and federal laws effecting all operations of the Center.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services or become well versed in 90 days.

ADA REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical Requirements:
  • Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
  • Must be capable of climbing and descending stairs in case of an emergency situation.
  • Proficient in operating routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
  • Able to work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, as needed.
  • Willing to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
  • Must demonstrate regular, reliable and timely attendance.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.

  • Ability to perform job functions independently and with limited supervision.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for exceptional member service to members by ensuring employees deliver consistently high-quality service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with our Service Promises.
  • Assists the commercial lending department with various operational aspects of the department including account maintenance and document preparation.
  • Routinely evaluates and calls on commercial clients to ensure timely reception of required documents or change in terms requests.
  • Creates monthly reports which provide senior management with an overview of the performance of the commercial portfolio.
  • Interacts with any approved third-party vendors who may support the commercial loan portfolio and participation growth.
  • Assists in the processing activities to ensure successful closing and funding of commercial loans.
  • Participates in various management meetings associated with portfolio management.
  • Performs other duties as commensurate with this position.
