Location: This is a remote position; however, candidates must have knowledge of and familiarity with the Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey markets.
Position Summary: Quaint Oak Bank is a growing community bank seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst. The Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing credit data and financial information in order to identify risks and measure the credit worthiness of a borrower.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with financial spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers as well as employees of the organization.
  • Ability to compute Debt Service Coverage Ratio, Debt to Income Ratio, Loan to Value percentage, and interpret data.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and work independently.
  • Ability to deal with situations involving variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to evaluate creditworthiness.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum five years’ experience in commercial credit analysis, preferably with a community bank or regional financial institution
  • Experience underwriting a full spectrum of commercial credit products including commercial lines of credit, commercial term loans, SBA loans and commercial real estate loans
  • Formal credit training preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
    Salary: $55,000-$70,000/year; offer is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive credit write-ups and risk assessments for new loan requests, renewals, modifications and loans in work-out.
  • Collect and analyze supporting documentation, spread financial statements, prepare cash flow analysis, evaluate collateral adequacy and loan structure, and prepare credit memorandums for final approval.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy and legibility of data entry and documentation.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to relationship managers and credit committees.
  • Collaborate with loan administration, underwriting, and relationship managers to ensure compliance with lending guidelines and documentation requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting commercial lending.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations for Loan Committee.
  • Review appraisal and environmental reports.
  • When applicable, participate in the ordering and review of various services, including but not limited to flood certifications, UCC searches, property searches, and IRS tax transcript requests.
