THE ROLE: This role is responsible for managing credit risk by assessing Corporate and SME credit applications in alignment with FleetPartners Group’s credit policy. It includes performing key credit administration functions and providing support to the broader credit team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant credit decisioning. Some of your key responsibilities will be (but not limited to): Analyse financial information, counterparty credit risk, asset risk and security structure of corporate transactions brought in by the Business Development & Relationship teams Prepare credit memorandum and approve within the DLA (Delegated Lending Authority) or refer with recommendation to Senior Credit Manager when outside the DLA Manage & analyse SME credit application submitted via scorecard ABOUT YOU: This role is suited to an experienced Commercial or SME Credit Analyst who is confident assessing business lending and making sound credit decisions. You will bring strong financial analysis capability, with the ability to interpret and assess financial statements to identify key risks and opportunities. With a commercially minded approach, you are comfortable balancing risk with business outcomes while working closely with internal stakeholders to support responsible lending decisions To be successful in this role you will have: 2 + years' experience in similar commercial SME role ideally within auto finance environment (not essential) Ability to review financial statements Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise with team members, staff across the business and external stakeholders High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in relation to financial calculations, credit verifications and all matters associated with the preparation of credit memorandum Good time management skills with ability to deliver to deadlines THE PERKS: Our employee benefits are continually evolving to meet the needs of our people.
