About the job We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Commercial Development Manager to join our Transaction Banking Unit. This role plays a key part in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for targeted customer segments, aiming to grow Transaction Banking business through deep market insight, client engagement, and trend analysis. You will identify new business opportunities, drive client-focused initiatives, and coordinate commercial activities to maximize revenue, segment growth, and the Unit’s market presence. Responsibilities Analyze and segment the customer base to create tailored proposals using commercial, transactional, geographic, and other key criteria for optimal impact Drive business performance analysis, tracking sales versus targets, monitoring segment growth, and producing actionable reports and insights to optimize productivity and support strategic decision-making Stay abreast of European and international organizations and publications to identify award opportunities, highlighting the unit’s innovation and achievements dentify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets (cross-sell, up-sell, win-back, activation) Act as a key client partner, supporting Relationship Managers with tailored Transaction Banking solutions and complex transactions. Drive sales growth by identifying client needs, proposing integrated product solutions, and ensuring successful deal execution. Monitor market trends, competition, and client needs to anticipate opportunities and maintain a competitive edge Prepare and analyze performance reports, segment data, and market insights to guide business decisions Design and implement annual commercial action plans, ensuring effective execution across internal teams Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience teams on product communication plans and promotional campaigns Contribute to annual budget planning and performance monitoring for products and segments Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Marketing Master’s degree in Economics or MBA will be considered as an asset At least 5 years of professional experience in commercial strategy, customer behavior analysis, or a related field Strong analytical skills to identify and connect key information, propose effective solutions, and deliver actionable plans Customer-focused with a proven ability to implement innovative solutions and manage calculated risks for impactful outcomes Strategic thinker with demonstrated capability in practical execution Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
