JOB DESCRIPTION

With Phibro’s recent purchase of Zoetis’ MFA product line, and in addition to several new Phibro MFA and NFA poultry product launches planned for this year and future years – Phibro is in the process of greatly expanding its commercial teams in Western Europe. The Commercial Director, Poultry & Swine Sales Western Europe will be responsible for leading the continued growth & development of Phibro’s poultry and swine business in Western Europe.

EDUCATION

Must have a minimum bachelor’s degree in animal health/nutrition/science/business/Sales or another related field.
Ideally have a DVM qualification.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 7 years of experience in a commercial role in animal health/nutrition within Western Europe.
  • At least 5 years of experience as commercial sales manager in poultry or country manager with a well-established record of business and sales growth.
  • Previous experience of establishing sales in new territories, ideally in Europe.
  • Previous experience in KAM (Key Account Management).
  • Experience building out sales teams in multiple countries throughout Europe.
  • Must be eligible to work in Europe.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Commercial Strategy: Formulate and execute strategic plans that align with company objectives for the poultry and swine sectors. This includes planning and executing product launches for new Phibro products and rebranding of Zoetis MFA product line.
  • Sales Leadership: Drive the sales team to achieve targets, expand market share, and increase revenue, with a focus on strong Key Account Management (KAM) skills.
  • Marketing Management: Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, promote products, and support sales efforts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Target customer groups include big poultry integrators, buying groups, large veterinary practices, feed companies, influencers, nutritionists.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s presence.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to align with strategic decisions.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the commercial budget, sales forecasts, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Team leadership: Train, develop and mentor team members to foster a high-performing commercial team.
