Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneering force in Saudi Arabia's entertainment and cultural landscape, is currently seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director for the Qiddiya Master Development Unit. This is a transformative role that will shape the vision and execution of large-scale master development initiatives within the Qiddiya project. As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy, ensuring the delivery of world-class projects that align with the company’s ambitions and objectives. Your role will encompass oversight of financial performance, contract management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, as well as driving innovation in commercial processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies for the Qiddiya Master Development Unit. Oversee all phases of commercial management, including procurement, contract negotiation, and financial management for large-scale development projects. Ensure alignment with Qiddiya's strategic goals while adhering to budgetary constraints and risk management practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, partners, and community organizations. Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers, securing optimal terms for Qiddiya. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats. Guide and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Prepare and present detailed reports on commercial performance and project progress to senior management. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial management within large-scale development projects; experience in mixed-use developments and Infrastructure projects, i.e Roads & Utilites. Strong understanding of contract law, commercial negotiation, and risk management. Track record of successful delivery in a strategic commercial role within a complex and dynamic environment. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions. Proficiency in commercial management software and tools.
