Description
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director for our Residential division, identified as RES-066. This role is instrumental in driving the commercial strategy, managing contracts, and overseeing procurement processes for our residential development projects. The Commercial Director will collaborate across departments to ensure that residential projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and aligned with Qiddiya's high standards for quality and innovation. You will lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for residential development projects. Manage contract negotiations, procurement, and commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and value engineering opportunities. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies related to commercial activities. Lead, motivate, and develop the commercial team to enhance performance and professional growth. Report regularly to senior management on commercial performance and key project milestones. Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiencies in residential developments. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in commercial management within residential construction projects. Strong expertise in contract administration, procurement, and risk management. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary teams. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with local residential real estate market and regulatory environment is advantageous. Professional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent are highly desirable.
