Description Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric commercial and industrial door repair company, is seeking a Commercial Door Sales (Business to Business) Representative to join our team of industry professionals. As a Commercial Door Sales Representative ( (Business to Business), your primary responsibility will be to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for our commercial door offerings. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and foremen to provide them with solutions that meet their commercial door needs. This position is ideal for a motivated and self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Using lead generation tools, identify commercial and industrial construction projects that may require overhead doors, initiating contact with the general contractor and/or architect to gather project information and provide information on our products and services. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for new construction projects. Complete cost estimates within bid date/time. Present and explain the benefits of our services to potential clients. Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets. Provide excellent customer service by following up on leads, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining long-term relationships. Collaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system. Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product, or industry knowledge plus any certifications to be considered. Proven experience in commercial or residential door sales Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to costs and pricing Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook) Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve sales goals. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Noise level is moderate in an office environment. Work Conditions: Full-time shifts are available between Vortex business hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
