Job Summary: Duties include (but are not limited to) unloading and loading trucks, commercial trucks to deliver merchandise to customers, collecting payment at time of delivery, interacting with customers, forklift use, pulling orders and putting away stock, general clean up and organization, etc. Essential Functions and Tasks: * Assist teammates and/or Store Manager in shipping and receiving customer tires * Load, unload, stack and lift tires * Use of certain warehouse equipment, including forklift operation * Retain forklift certification * Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Experience in a driving role (preferred) * Forklift experience (onsite training certification available) * Valid Driver’s License * Clean driving record * For insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years or older Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Dependable - Employee must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy, and complete all assigned obligations. * Attention to Detail - Employee must be thorough in completing tasks and must always be aware of potential safety issues. * Cooperation - Employee must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude. * Integrity - Employee is required to be honest and ethical. * Self-Control - Employee is required to maintain composure, keep emotions in check, control anger, and avoid aggressive behavior regardless of circumstances. * Communication - Employee must provide courteous and clear written and verbal communication with customers and co-workers. Required Physical Abilities: Physical requirements of this position may require a range of activities. These can include, but are not limited to: * Lifting and carrying – the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly. * Standing and walking – this position will require standing and walking for periods of time * Bending and stooping – bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position. * Reaching and pushing/pulling – the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities. * Sitting – there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time. * This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely. Work Environment: This position will require employees to work in certain weather conditions, such as heat, cold, as well as potential confined spaces. Monday – Friday from 7:30AM – 5:00PM

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering merchandise to customers using commercial trucks and handling the loading and unloading of tires. Duties also include forklift operation, order pulling, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
