Class A CDL Truck Driver

Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Local/Regional Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods across local and regional routes, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient deliveries. You will operate a tractor/trailer combination, following all safety protocols and maintaining strict attention to traffic laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong route planning skills, excellent customer service, problem solving skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to keeping vehicles in top working condition. As a family-owned business, we valuehard work, reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude toward both customers and teammates.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure on time and accurate deliveries to and from our customers in a safe, timely and professional manner. * Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including pre and post trip inspections and reporting, load securement, and keeping track of hours of service. * Ensuring the truck is clean inside and out and well maintained. * Ability to work more than 45 hours per week when customer demands are needed. * Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary. * Tracking mileage for servicing and repairs. * A well-maintained, professional appearance following company uniform requirements. * Maintain and promote a strong safety environment following all DOT and company standards of safety. Including identifying and reporting all hazards to management. * Maintain a professional and positive attitude.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid U.S. Class A CDL * Valid medical card meeting all DOT requirements * 3 or more years of verifiable driving experience * Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language and understand traffic signs and signals * Ability to operate a 13 or 18 speed transmission * Ability to drive in adverse weather condition when necessary * Clean MVR record * At least 24 years of age * Pass pre-employment screening based on job requirements and industry guidelines, including drug and alcohol screenings, criminal, motor vehicle and physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Additional Qualifications

  • Problem solving skills * Excellent communication skills * Drop and hook trailer experience * Ability to work nights and weekends to meet business needs * Reefer experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 90 lbs, walk, sit, stand, bend, and kneel
