Position Title: Commercial Education Institute Teacher
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (with 1-hour break time)
Training allowance $2500
Location: CCK Student Care & Enrichment Centre
Attachment Description
To support and enrich the learning of Secondary students. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of the national curriculum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver engaging, results-driven lessons that build both performance and confidence in core subjects
Specific Responsibilities
1. Deliver English, Mathematics, and/or Science tuition aligned with MOE curriculum.
2. Prepare and tailor lesson plans, materials, and activities to student needs.
3. Monitor progress through assessments and provide feedback to students and parents.
4. Maintain accurate records of attendance, homework, and performance.
5. Foster an engaging, supportive environment that motivates participation.
6. Collaborate with colleagues, attend training, and update parents on student development.
Competencies
Subject & Curriculum: Expertise: Strong knowledge of English, Math, and/or Science, with familiarity in MOE syllabus, exam formats, and assessment standards.
Lesson Design & Delivery: Skilled in planning and delivering clear, engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
Assessment & Record Keeping: Proficient in designing tests, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate student records.
EdTech Proficiency: Competent in using digital teaching tools and platforms to enhance learning.
Classroom & Student Engagement: Able to manage classrooms effectively, foster motivation, and design activities that encourage participation.
Collaboration & Growth Mindset: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with openness to training and continuous improvement
