Shape tomorrow: At Bosch, you change lives Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commercial Estimator to join our team in Orlando, United States. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, partnering with sales teams, and managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Develop comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine material quantities and labor requirements Collaborate with sales teams during the project development phase to provide accurate installation pricing Identify and select qualified subcontractors through supplier development and relationship management Lead the development of installation costing models and strategies to optimize project efficiency Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges Prepare and review requests for proposals (RFPs) from subcontractors and suppliers Negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry standards Participate in project handover meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimation to execution Continuously improve estimation processes and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent industry experience Minimum of 5 years of project management and estimating experience in the construction industry Proven experience in building systems and operational processes Strong procurement background with a focus on construction equipment and services Excellent cost analysis skills and solid financial knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Experience with industry-standard estimating software Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in team settings Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality estimates Preferred Qualifications: Experience in design-build construction projects Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical industry installations Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes Multi-language capabilities Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
