POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial estimating with proven experience in ground-up construction projects. This individual must be proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, performing accurate take-offs, and managing multiple bids efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
Proven experience with ground-up commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering plans and specifications.
Proficiency in performing accurate and thorough take-offs.
Procore experience preferred.
Highly organized with excellent time management and scheduling skills.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and have a clean driving record.

Analyze and interpret construction plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Perform detailed material and labor take-offs for commercial projects.
Prepare and coordinate bid packages, subcontractor scopes, and proposals.
Visit large job sites when necessary to assess project scope and gather information.
Utilize Procore and other estimating tools/software for tracking and documentation.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and job-related correspondence.
Work closely with scheduling and operations teams to ensure alignment of estimated scope and timelines.
