ABBOTT TRANSFUSION MEDICINE, ABBOTT GMBH IS LOOKING FOR A COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE AND PRICING ANALYST FOR EUROPE AND REGION TURKEY (M/F/D) BASED IN WIESBADEN.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Commercial Excellence and Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team and support our pricing and commercial operations across the countries in the responsible region. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving profitable revenue growth, through consistent application of repeatable processes. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing models, sales cycles and commercial execution.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Has 5+ years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, sales operations, or finance roles.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Is comfortable working with data, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI is a plus).
  • Has experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems (advantageous but not required).
  • Demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Exhibits a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Is fluent in English (other European languages are a plus).

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze pricing proposals for new business and renewals.
  • Support the deal approval process by ensuring pricing guidelines and governance are applied.
  • Analyze customer profitability, pricing trends, and margin impacts.
  • Provide recommendations for pricing strategies in alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by ensuring accurate sales forecasting and instrument demand management.
  • Maintain and develop tools for pricing analysis and reporting.
  • Support the development of dashboards and KPIs in collaboration with Sales & Finance.
  • Monitor commercial performance indicators such as win rates, renewal rates, and price increases.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency in CRM (Salesforce.com) and pricing tools (QTC, others).
  • Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies and approval workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement of commercial processes and pricing frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with global and area peers to ensure best practices across countries.
  • Work in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Planning teams.
  • Support the preparation of readiness and business cases for new product launches.
  • Contribute to risk management processes linked to the IBP process.
