Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You are responsible for working closely with all markets that have JBL or HARMAN Kardon stores, oversee in-store concepts, understand business model, consolidate business reports, and collaborating on store design. This role also involves managing merchandise, training, analyze sales and marketing trends, and developing strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work with all markets that have JBL or HARMAN Kardon stores. Drive input into the strategy of these markets across all consumer touchpoints including but not limited to packaging, assets, content, retail display and merchandise.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency, in accordance with Company’s direction. Alignment to sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability to achieve yearly budget.
  • Understand the business model to enhance customer experience and localisation to each market.
  • Consolidate and analyze business reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse sales and marketing trends to identify opportunities for sales growth in new channel opportunities and market penetration/brand outreach.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify best practices and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with the local teams on in-store design/concepts and ensure implementation is aligned with global brand guidelines.
  • Oversee visual and merchandise planning, procurement, and inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Manage training programs – identify and develop key product training scope with the Product Planning & Strategy team.
  • Work with Marketing team to create impactful point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and merchandising strategies to capture shopper attention and enhance shopping experience (retail storefront, pop up stores, offline roadshows and etc.).
  • Collaborate with store teams and distributors to develop visually appealing and engaging displays that align with brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all locations.
  • Provide feedback to the Commercial team on in-store product performance and customer preferences.
  • Observe customer reactions to displays, regularly analyse retail sales data and the performance of different product / category ranges, and the effectiveness of merchandising initiatives to help drive effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular mystery shopping visits to assigned store locations. Provide detailed, objective feedback on the shopping experience through written reports.
